NVIDIA to launch Ada Lovelace successor in 2025

A new roadmap was revealed by NVIDIA, reports HardwareLuxx.

The GPU vendor confirms its plans for what comes after Ada Lovelace. A cryptic codename “Ada Lovelace Next” is how NVIDIA describes its upcoming gaming architecture.

A bit of surprising news that it will not be released in 2024, but rather a year later. NVIDIA has typically kept its two-year cadence for each gaming architecture with some exception, so this might be considered a small delay.

Should this roadmap turn out to be true, this would suggest NVIDIA is more than likely to introduce a refresh of its architecture eventually. Although noting so far suggests a mid-series SUPER launch, there have been a number of Ti variants released to date. NVIDIA might simply add more options along the way.

This roadmap also sheds some light on Hopper Next and Grace Next architectures for the data-center market. The former is already known as Blackwell and has appeared in the leaks. It would imply that both architectures may now be exhibited in the first half of 2024, thereby corroborating that Blackwell is not part of the gaming lineup.
