Smaller RTX GPUs

Even for the $200 GeForce RTX 4070, board partners were unwilling to introduce small form factor graphics cards. It wasn’t actually until today, that they decided to unveil the first GeForce RTX 4060 Ti/4060 models that fit right into that description.

GeForce RTX 4060 Mini-V

Starting with Colorful, who designed a brand new “Mini-V” graphics card. The company claims that this is a single-fan and dual-slot design ideal for compact PCs and Home Theater PCs (HTPC). The card measures just 17 cm, but there are no other renders available. What is confirmed though is that this design will be used by GeForce RTX 4060 non-Ti. No specifications were announced, but since this is not an ‘iGame’ GPU, chances are it will use NVIDIA reference specs.

Gainward RTX 4060 Ti Pegasus Series

Gainward has two mini-ITX cards (under 17cm length). It’s a dual-slot design with a single fan and one 8-pin power connector. The company confirms that there are two models, either with factory-overclocking to 2670 MHz (boost) or with NVIDIA stock clocks. However, both models have the same default TDP of 160W (NVIDIA spec).

Palit RTX 4060 Ti StormX

The StormX series from Palit is a clone of Gainward GPU. Both companies use the same board design and even their cards even have the same clocks, but the shroud design is different. This is a minor, hardly noticeable difference, though.

Inno3D RTX 4060 Compact

Out of eight Inno3D’s new cards announced today, there is only one Mini-ITX design. The card called “Compact” measures just 155x122x39 mm, so most likely the smallest Ada GPU yet. This card is based on RTX 4060 non-Ti and has the following clocks: 1830/2460 MHz (base and boost). It requires one 8-pin power connector, although a 6-pin cable would suffice for 115W TDP.

ZOTAC RTX 4060 Solo

ZOTAC announced its Solo graphics card, which is not part of the company’s current lineup. This Mini-ITX design does not have the full specs posted yet (dimensions or clocks), but we can see it is a dual-slot design that should fit into our SFF/Mini-ITX description. Similarly to Inno3D, ZOTAC only has plans for RTX 4060 non-Ti SKU, so 8GB and 3072 CUDA cores are what will be hidden under this tiny shroud.

No Mini-ITX designs were announced by ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, Galax or PNY. However, it should be noted that some brands did not showcase their RTX 4060 non-Ti graphics cards yet.
