NVIDIA RTX 4060 (Ti) Founders Edition has allegedly pictured

Shortly after leaking the RTX 4070 Ti FE design, @KittyYYuko is also sharing photographs of the alleged RTX 4060 (Ti) design.

The new photographs appear to show a small RTX 40 desktop card, clearly featuring the same design principle as all Founders Edition models based on Ada architecture. It is a much smaller card though and designed to fit into two PCIe slots only.

The card is clearly labeled as RTX 4060, but the leaker says it might be RTX 4060 Ti. The exact reason for this claim is unknown, but one might guess that the specs might have been changed, or both cards are tested internally with the same cooler.

As a reminder, the RTX 4060 Ti is alleged to feature an AD106-350 GPU with 4352 CUDA cores. It is to feature 8GB of GDDR6 memory and only a 128-bit memory bus. Furthermore, the TDP will be reduced on this model to 160W, from 200W on the upcoming RTX 4070.

Meanwhile, the RTX 4060 is to use entry-level AD107-400 GPU instead. This would be the full implementation with 3072 CUDA cores. No changes to the memory config are expected, but the TDP should drop even lower to just 115W. Both models are to feature PCIe Gen4 x8 interface.

Whether this is a real card, we can’t be sure yet, but it is very unlikely somebody would go through all the trouble to make such a unique design on their own. Thus far, nothing suggests that NVIDIA has plans to launch any RTX 4070 or RTX 4060 series cards as Founders Edition, but those things can of course change at any time.
