Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S9, and Possibly Other Devices Now Receiving Stable One UI 6.0 Update

The new series of foldable phones are only five days away, and Samsung is not holding back this time around, as the company has been showing off the devices in one way or another. Today, Samsung posted a teaser video of the upcoming Galaxy Flip 5 that finally confirms a longstanding rumor that the latest foldable will actually be without any gaps when it is folded, which means that you can expect better protection against any ingress, especially when the phone is in your pocket or your purse.

Samsung does not want to keep the Galaxy Z Flip 5 a secret as a new teaser arrives showing a gapless folding display

The teaser does not show much about the device, but honestly, at this point, there is nothing about the device that we already know. We know how it looks, thanks to a number of renders that have surfaced in the past. We know the cover display is going to be the main selling point, the specs, and everything in between. The teaser serves as another much-needed confirmation that Samsung truly has done something that should help its flagship phones last even longer. You can still look at the teaser below courtesy of Samsung's Twitter account.

As mentioned before, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 teaser does not really show anything that we already have not seen. You are looking at a couple of flip devices just spinning around and eventually closing; that goes to show just what Samsung has done with the folding mechanism. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, and I am really looking forward to seeing how this adds to the overall durability.

Aside from the gapless display, the one thing that I am more interested in is the fact that cover display on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. If it were up to me, I would say that the new flip is much more interesting than the Z Fold 5 because that still looks like a rehash of older designs with slightly better build quality. The cover display can be a game changer, especially after learning that it can be utilized in more ways than one, allowing people to use their phones without actually unfolding them, which is very convenient, especially for people who want to check their phone for a text rather than doom scroll.

For those interested, the Galaxy Z Flip 5, along with all the other devices slated for release, are going official on July 26th. So, you have just five more days before everything is out in the open, and you can look at everything that Samsung has been planning. We'll be sure to keep you posted as we come across more information.
