NVIDIA RTX 4060 set for June 29th launch, first reviews a day sooner

Leaked embargo information confirms June release date for RTX 4060 non-Ti.

A full embargo detail for the GeForce RTX 4060 series was leaked by MEGAsizeGPU. We can confirm that this is a real document that we also have in our possession. According to this table, the RTX 4060 non-Ti is set to launch on June 29th, so sooner than NVIDIA originally communicated (July).

The new SKUs will start shipping to channel (board partners/OEMs/integrators) today, on June 12th. Parts of the embargo data are pixelated, likely to secure the source, however we share the key events that are missing:

  • June 9th: AIC Press & Influencers Seeding List Submission
  • June 12th: Ship to Channel/NDA Channel Embargo
  • June 21st: AIC Press & Influencer Seeding
  • June 28th: MSRP models reviews
  • June 29th: non-MSRP model reviews & On-Shelf (launch)

Worth noting the document confirms that NVIDIA will once again split the review embargo into MSRP and non-MSRP cards. One could expect this type of review schedule to continue in the future.

Interestingly, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB model, which is also listed in this embargo document, does not have a release date yet, but the card is still scheduled for July launch.

The RTX 4060 non-Ti features an AD107-300 GPU with 3072 CUDA cores paired with 8GB GDDR6 memory across a 128-bit interface. The card will also have slower memory modules (17 Gbps) compared to RTX 4060 Ti cards (18 Gbps). The latest Ada GPU from NVIDIA to join the desktop lineup will also be the slowest model thus far.

According to NVIDIA, the RTX 4060 will cost $299/€329.
