Three Galaxy S22 models launched by Samsung

Even though we are still a good 7 months away from Galaxy S24, details of Samsung's future flagship have started emerging. This would sound strange to some as the company is already gearing to release the new foldable and tablets this year but don't worry, we are pretty sure that the South Korean firm is hard at work with next year's flagship trio or duo. Shall I say? Based on the latest tip, we have information on both the Galaxy S24 and its successful Galaxy S25 which will release in 2025.

The Galaxy S24 could be a minor upgrade over the Galaxy S23, with the Galaxy S25 bringing some much-needed change

Renowned tipster @Tech_Reve has come forward again with some interesting details about Samsung's future flagship. The tipster has suggested that Samsung could possibly go back to using Exynos 2400 for the Galaxy S24 alongside Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Both chipsets will be based on 4nm fabrication process. In addition to that, the base variant and the plus variant are said to have ISOCELL GN3 cameras, and the ultra variant will no longer have 3x and 10x telephoto cameras; instead, Samsung will go for a single, folded telephoto camera allowing for both 3x and 10x optical zoom. This would mean that we will see one less sensor on the phone.

Moving further, the source also mentioned the Galaxy S25. We could see an Exynos 2500 variant alongside a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 variant, both based on a 3nm fabrication process. ISOCELL GN3 will no longer be used, and we will see a new 200-megapixel sensor with a lot of new technology, such as a 17nm process image sensor, electrode integration, nanophotonics, and more.

I understand that it is too early to speculate anything about the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25 series. Still, we do have to understand that development on these devices is taking place. We have also been hearing that Samsung might end up killing the Plus variant altogether, which will leave us with just the base variant and the ultra variant, which makes sense since the Plus does not offer anything groundbreaking in terms of upgrades.

Sadly, we are going to have to wait some time before we start getting more news about Samsung's Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25 series. The company will be busy releasing several new devices later this year, so expect some more concrete information on these devices to roll out during or after September, later this year.
