Windows 11 will soon have integrated RGB lighting controls officially from Microsoft for your gaming PCs under the Dynamic Lighting feature. The company wants to offer a single hub for all your RGB needs, saving you the trouble of installing different software for each component.
Microsoft Wants To Make Managing RGB Inside Your PCs Easier With New Windows 11 "Dynamic Lighting" Feature
Microsoft has called this new feature "Dynamic Lighting, " announced in the Windows Developer blog post. While we have yet to get official information on the feature, we may have a good idea of its general look thanks to some previously released photographs from the Twitter user Albacore.
The Windows 11 settings interface includes adjustments for screen brightness, lighting effects, and color scheme. There's also a function that can coordinate your hardware with Windows' accent color.

RGB customization is troublesome for plenty of new users dedicated to having a perfectly synchronized setup. You end up with tons of bloat and various software modules to work with since every company has its own proprietary RGB control software. Microsoft aims to remove this hassle by providing an easy solution without going through any third-party applications.

Microsoft recognizes in a post on the Windows Developer site that "lighted accessories have been on the rise and can add energy and emotion to your PC experience" and that "many of these accessories rely on third-party apps and integrations that are highly fragmented."
You can access this feature in newer build versions of Windows 11, but we won't advise you to go through the trouble. It appears as "Ambient Lightning" in the build version and isn't working as it should. However we hope it works well with the official release, but you can never be sure with Microsoft.
I hope this function isn't a "gimmick" like many other RGB programs. Microsoft hasn’t officially announced its lighting support for Windows 11 just yet. Still, the company is working on several experimental features expected to appear in a more significant update to Windows 11 later this year.
