Today, DJI announced its highly rumored Mini 2 SE drone with a boatload of upgrades over the original. The latest drone comes with more or less the same design as its predecessor with improved internals so beginners can get the most out of it. DJI Mini 2 SE comes with twice the range of the original but almost the same flight time

The drone is DJI's entry-level addition to the lineup, which is an excellent option for anyone looking to explore the aerial category. In terms of design, the DJI Mini 2 SE features the same design as its predecessor. It is compact and fit for travel. As for what is new, the Mini 2 SE now comes with DJI's OcuSync 2.0 transmission system, which means that the drone can fly twice the range of the original Mini SE. The drone will now transfer video feed from greater distances of up to 10km.

As for battery life, the DJI Mini 2 SE can fly for 31 minutes on a single charge. Compared to the original, the Mini 2 SE offers only one additional minute of flight time. It weighs less than 249 grams, making it quite light for travel and storage. Furthermore, you are also not required to register the drone with the Federal Aviation Administration due to its weight.
