AMD 8-core Ryzen 7 7800X3D price starts at €530

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D officially launches April 6th.

Gamers who are eagerly anticipating the release of the most affordable Ryzen 7000 CPU with 3D V-Cache still need to be patient. This part is set to launch next month, but this does not mean retailers aren’t preparing for this launch already.

The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the third and the cheapest part of the X3D family. As shown by early simulations of Ryzen 9 7950X3D turned 7800X3D, this part should also be the most exciting SKU for gamers. AMD themselves claim that their 7800X3D will be 20% faster on average than Core i9-13900K, but those numbers are yet to face reality as soon as independent media share their results.

Officially, Ryzen 7 7800X3D is to cost $449 in the US, but AMD is yet to confirm the retail price in Europe. ComputerBase speculate that it should cost around 509 EUR, as 7950X3D and 7900X3D were both that much (13%) pricier than in the US.

The CPU can now be found in some European stores, all clearly stating that the parts are not ready for delivery yet. In Slovenia, the 7800X3D is listed at €530, which is very close to what CB expects. A quick check on retailer pricing confirms that the remaining 7000X3D parts are sold there are suggested retail price.

However, there are also instances where 7800X3D may cost a lot more. The German store has this part listed at €607, but we also easily found the same CPU at more than €800. Of course, higher pricing means that those are placeholders and not final prices for Europe.

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D officially launches on April 6th at $449. The launch should be preceded by comprehensive tests from independent media.
