NVIDIA is copying EVGA Elite Priority Access?

If you live in a country that takes part in NVIDIA’s trial program, then you might be getting an invitation to purchase RTX 4090 graphics cards soon.

NVIDIA is testing a new program called “Verified Priority Access”. It gives gamers and content creators a chance to buy RTX 4090 graphics card without a need to look for a card in stock. The program looks a lot like a copy of EVGA Priority Access, which gave verified members exclusive early access to EVGA queue system, and as a result, a chance to reserve a new GPU.

It looks like NVIDIA program only works for the Founders Edition and only in select countries. The invite should pop up in GeForce Experience, so if you are not using it, there certainly won’t be an invitation for you.

The VPA will be available in the following countries:

  • Best Buy (United States)
  • Scan (United Kingdom)
  • NBB (Germany & Netherlands)
  • LDLC (France, Italy, and Spain)

NVIDIA has not disclosed how many invites will be sent or how does the algorithm that detects ‘gamers’ work. Hopefully, GeForce Experience does not check our bank accounts.

We know it’s often challenging to purchase a new product close to launch date for a variety of reasons. Today, we’re testing a program we call verified priority access – which will give a limited number of GeForce gamers & creators an opportunity to purchase a GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition graphics card.

Invited users receive a GeForce Experience in-app notification that generates a unique URL – connecting invitees to a Founders Edition partner in select regions. Currently, testing for verified priority access includes: Best Buy (United States), Scan (United Kingdom), NBB (Germany & Netherlands), and LDLC (France, Italy, and Spain).
