Samsung, as a brand, has made a lot of strides over its tenure in the market. There was a time when no one would look twice at Samsung because there were so many other options, but that did not stop the South Korean tech giant from not just moving forward but also excelling in a highly saturated market with a lot of competitors. And today, to prove the point, we have news that the company has managed to lead the smartphone market in 95 countries.

It is evident that Samsung is well aware of its smartphone strategy and what it needs to do to win

Now, Samsung and Apple are no strangers to leading in the markets, and they are also no strangers to the market share as both companies enjoy the largest combined market share. The latest report shows how the South Korean firm is leading in 95 countries out of 171 countries. Apple, on the other hand, leads in 51 countries, whereas Chinese brands take the lead in 25 countries.

Surprisingly, Samsung has the biggest lead in Fiji, enjoying a massive market share of 74%. Which is surprisingly higher than its own market share on its home turf. Then there's Somalia, where the company leads by 71.89%, and a few other countries, too. Looking at the names, it is safe to say that the company is well aware of its strategy, and it knows what it is doing.

Samsung is still struggling in areas like China, getting only 1.78% percent of the market share, but this is not really surprising because most people prefer Huawei over anything else. But the good news is that if you are looking at the overall statistics, the South Korean firm is leading in most of the markets.

Samsung has a really impressive portfolio ranging from its flagship S series devices to affordable A, M, and F series devices, as well as a Z series foldable, then you have tablets, too. Samsung is also working on bringing more fan edition devices to various markets where it can capture a respectable market share, too.
