Happy 2022! I recently spent some time reflecting on my (almost) year back at Intel. Here's what I shared. #iamintel
Love the sweater Pat!!
AMD is not in Intel's rear view mirror. Alderlake is fast but at a price. It uses too much power, you can't find DDR5 and if you do it's outrageously priced and the motherboards are too expensive. Consumers want competively priced products that have good performance per watt. Intel fell short on both.
Pat Gelsinger expected more from you "humility", but it is seen that you are like the other CEOs before you... In addition to the fact that AMD is selling everything it manufactures, whether it is for desktops, workstations and servers, where in this last segment gave priority to get more profit per product sold, since today with zen 2 and 3 there is no need to buy intel, since it forces you to change each generation of motherboard... while AMD has maintained 5 generations of processors easily with the same socket.. i'm sorry but to my intel as long as i don't apologize for those words i will never recommend intel and i hope a lot of consumers will do the same.
Pat Gelsinger always great leadership! HNY!
This stupidity of saying AMD is in the rear view mirror shows why Intel failed in the consumer market in the last few years. AMD's leadership finally woke up Intel leadership and made you respond. Finally a competitor made you innovate. AMD also helped Intel make its products competitive instead of pricing your consumer CPUs as high as you wanted to. How about the failure of Intel's fabs? It took Intel years to get to 10nm nodes. Now your fabs can't do better so Intel had to make use of TSMC. That's another leadership failure. Instead of slamming your main CPU competitor you need to repair your infrastructure and reign in your ego. The power efficiency of your consumer CPUs need work. Intel needs to stop introducing new consumer chipsets too often or is raking in money from each new change in chipsets your manifesto?
The Beatles and Intel have done one thing in common, they changed the world. Get Back to where you onced belong!
Your energy continues to be contagious and your leadership inspiring. HNY!
Took 4 generations of CEO'S to hinder the manufacturing process and to eliminate job satisfaction. Will you be able to transform intel back into "a great place to work" and return the manufacturing to industry leading?
À la recherche d'un emploi.
2yNice joke it's a good one. AMD DID WORK SO HARD Intel just in the rearview mirror of AMD now
