An ultra-thin and ultra-light console featuring AMD Ryzen 7 7840U

Ont-Netbook introduces a new product featuring AMD Zen4 APU.

Onexfly is a new console by One-Netbook, the same company that offers OneXPlayer high-end consoles. Last year, this handheld console and laptop maker announced it will develop a thinner and smaller product, which was expected to feature a low-power AMD Mendocino processor, notes Liliputing. Turns out, this console called Onexfly features just about as high-end CPU as other popular consoles on the market, such as AOKZEO or AYANEO.

The Onexfly is equipped with an 8-core Ryzen 7 7840U Phoenix CPU based on AMD Zen4 architecture. This variant of the Ryzen 7040 APU also comes with a full 12 Compute Units integrated GPU featuring RDNA3 architecture. It is the best APU for such products that AMD has currently in store, with an exception to the Ryzen Z1 series, which are custom Phoenix chips for ASUS ROG Ally consoles.

One-Netbook revealed more details on the console last week, including new renders and some initial specs. The console looks awfully similar to AOKZOE A2 console, which was revealed a few weeks ago. Although the company has denied claims that OneNetbook and AOKZEO have any type of partnership, there are some obvious similarities in design between both products. The main difference is the size of the screen, as the Onexfly features a 7-inch panel with a resolution of 1920×1080 (16:9) while AOKZOE has a different aspect ratio of 16:10 and resolution of 1920×1200.

The Onexfly console is now listed on a crowdfunding platform with some further details. It appears that the product does not have a release date yet. Nonetheless, in the event that the crowdfunding campaign starts soon, we strongly advise against pre-ordering any hardware, particularly prior to its dispatch to reviewers.
