Next-Gen NVIDIA TITAN GPU with 48GB memory

Shipping manifest for TITAN engineering sample lists partial memory specs.

NVIDIA is now shipping PG137 engineering boards to development centers around the world. It looks like one of the units was spotted by a company monitoring the shipping manifests going to India. The GPU maker shipped at least a couple of testing boards to its local development center.

The PG137 board design is known to VideoCardz readers as a potential TITAN RTX ADA board. It was first mentioned by Kopite7kimi who had revealed that this board supports up to 48GB of memory. It looks like exactly this information is now confirmed by the shipping manifest, which lists 48GB GDDR6 memory for one of the units being transported.

Interestingly, it only mentions GDDR6, not GDDR6X. This could mean that TITAN is not using GDDR6X memory but rather higher-clocked GDDR6 type instead. Furthermore, at least two different SKUs are mentioned: SKU 0 and SKU 330, which could explain why some leakers tend to have slightly different information.

Just a few days ago, a picture of TITAN RTX ADA GPU has been leaked. This quad-slot GPU design might be the first NVIDIA graphics card to have a vertical PCB with stacked display connectors. The PCB itself would be parallel to the motherboard, so it is a major shift in how graphics cards might look in the future.

The only difference between the manifests and the picture above is the product code change from EB2 to TS1. This most likely stands for Engineering Board and Test Sample. One thing is clear though, the design is clearly in advanced development stage, and it even had the same color as previous generation TITAN models already.
