AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D for 449 USD

One of our best sources has provided a list of upcoming AMD AM4 processors that will be released in the coming weeks.

AMD’s first Ryzen processor equipped with 3D V-Cache memory, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, now has a release date: April 20. According to Disclosuzen, who near perfect track record, this CPU will launch at 449 USD, the original price of Ryzen 7 5800.

Furthermore, we learn more details about Ryzen 7 5700X, the ‘affordable’ 65W 8-core CPU supposedly launching at 299 USD. This CPU has a base clock of 3.4 GHz, which is 400 MHz lower than 5800X. However, the boost clock will be just 100 MHz lower.

AMD is also launching 6-core Ryzen 5 CPUs: 5600 and 5500. Contrary to previous report, both SKUs supposedly have SMT enabled (so they have 12 threads). There is a small difference in clock speeds though: the 5600 has 3.5/4.4 GHz clocks whereas the 5500 comes with 3.6 and 4.2 GHz frequencies for base and boost respectively. It would also appear that 5500 features 16MB of L3 Cache, while 5600 comes with 32MB. This is likely because 5500 is based on Cezanne silicon, while 5600 is based on Vermeer.

AMD will be launching as many as three Ryzen 4000 SKUs: 4600G, 4500 and 4100, these are entry-level CPUs to be priced under 154 USD. The Ryzen 5 4500 is expected to cost 129 USD whereas the cheapest Ryzen 3 4100 is expected to cost 99 USD. Those are most likely the Renoir-X parts with the iGPU disabled.

Our source does not have the launch dates for non X3D parts yet because their availability will depend on the region, however it is very likely they will all become available in April. There is also a talk about official Ryzen 4000/5000 support for AMD 300 series motherboards coming at a same time, however we do not have any details yet.

The supposed launch of 5800X3D on April 20th collides with the rumors about AMD Radeon 6000 refresh. There is a chance the company is preparing a special product update event on this date.

Please note that these prices may still change, this is simply the data that has been shared with AMD partners as of this week.
