Acer Predator Series coming with GeForce and Radeon GPUs
GamersNexus were invited to Acer HQ for a tour. They were shown two of the unreleased high-end GPU that are currently being evaluated.

Acer is clearly going for the high-end market with what appears to be a design based on both NVIDIA RTX 4090 and AMD Radeon RX 7900 series. The company has developed a very interesting prototype for the RTX 4090 card, which has an integrated liquid cooler with no external radiator.
The radiator is 22.4 cm wide, and it is attached two fans and two pumps on each side. It sits on top of a cold plate has a protruding flat copper area that resembles what EVGA was doing with their AIO / Hybrid designs. The copper plate covers the GPU and VRAM, but the radiator is also covering the VRM section on each side of the GPU.

The RTX 4090 Predator is not the only new card currently under active development. Steve was also shown an unnamed Radeon RX 7000 card featuring the Predator and Radeon logos. There is no doubt that this is a high-end RX 7900 model though given that AMD had only launched two such models and RX 7600, which clearly does not require such a cooler.
So, the important thing to note is that the final design might still change, but from the looks of it the card might very well be finished. It’s a large triple-slot and triple-fan design kept in a black and silver color scheme. The card is powered by two 8-pin power connectors, but there is room for a third connector. This either means that Acer design is not set to compete with other flagships RX 7900 XTX designs, or what is also possible, we are looking at a 7900 XT model.

Acer did not officially confirm that such graphics cards are coming, but this prototype showcase is a clear indicator that the Acer’s entrance into the GPU high-end segment is well underway. Furthermore, those two cards are the first known GeForce and Radeon GPUs the company has shown off. Steve says that Acer might just as well fill the void left after EVGA, given they use similar cooling technologies. The only difference is that Acer is now confirmed to working with all three GPU suppliers while EVGA never worked with Intel or AMD for its GPU launches.
