RTX 30 gets a discount at BestBuy
The US retailer is running a clearance discounts on their GeForce RTX 30 cards from NVIDIA.
BestBuy is now offering its GeForce RTX 30 GPUs at much lower prices. The discount applies to RTX 30 Founders Edition GPU, which were exclusively sold by the retailer for a long time. The fact that these cards are now on clearance, could suggest that the retailer expects the very last shipment of these cards before running out of stock.
The price cuts apply to most RTX 30 cards, but RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 Ti models were not affected by the new deals. This means that RTX 3080 offered at $419.99 is currently cheaper than RTX 3070 Ti at $599.99. Probably the most interesting price cut is for the RTX 3060 model, which is now listed at $300, which is around $60 cheaper than any custom model sold by the same store.

- GeForce RTX 3080 Ti: $1199.99 → $719.99
- GeForce RTX 3080: $699.99 → $419.99
- GeForce RTX 3070: $599.99
- GeForce RTX 3060 Ti: $399.99
- GeForce RTX 3060: $329.99 → $299.99
While this offer looks great, the availability of these deals is very limited, not to say they are artificial. However, this is a good sign that even NVIDIA premium retail partners are now expecting to upgrade their inventory to next-gen series, which are hopefully coming in the following weeks.
