It seems like Google’s working on letting you use your Android phone as a USB webcam, according to code unearthed by Mishaal Rahman. That could definitely help easily and cheaply upgrade their videoconference game without the need for third-party software, though it’s hard to say if and when this will actually become a feature in the OS.
