No-longer-China-exclusive Ryzen 5 7500F is now available in Germany

The 6-core Ryzen 7000 CPU without integrated graphics lands in Europe.

In the previous month, AMD introduced the Ryzen 5 7500F processor, boasting 6 Zen4 cores. The primary intention behind this release was to present a more economical alternative to the Ryzen 5 7600, albeit with one significant omission. Specifically, this absence refers to the integrated RDNA2 graphics processor, a feature now standard in all desktop CPUs on AMD’s AM5 platform—except for this F-Series CPU.

Within the CPU, two Compute Unit GPU subsystems within the I/O die have been deactivated. However, the Zen4 chiplets utilized are identical to those featured in the 7600 SKU. AMD did, however, slightly reduced the clock speed for this CPU, shifting it from a 5.1 GHz boost to 5.0 GHz — so a minor step down.

AMD’s German press office issued a statement asserting that while the Ryzen 5 7500F will remain exclusive to the Chinese retail market, it is still slated for launch in other regions through system integrators. As a result, systems equipped with these CPUs are relatively easy to come across, though they are often bundled with an entire PC setup or simply a motherboard.

Nonetheless, it appears that German retailers are now selling this CPU as shown by the provided screenshots. The CPU is in stock or pending arrival in the retailers warehouses.

Priced at €202, it slightly exceeds the anticipated cost. The CPU’s official US MSRP stands at $179, which should roughly translate to €164 plus VAT (amounting to €195 in Germany).
