After implementing some improvements for WhatsApp calls, WhatsApp is now working on a new interface for voice calls.

There are a lot of features under development, and there is a new one today. After introducing the possibility to join WhatsApp calls after the call starts, WhatsApp is now working on a redesigned interface when you place a voice call:
We have decided to compare these interfaces, so you can understand the changes better. As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp is redesigning the interface for a future update in order to make it more compact and modern, organizing the available space: the new redesign will look nice especially while placing group voice calls.
Even if the screenshot was taken on WhatsApp for iOS, WhatsApp is planning the same redesign for a future update of WhatsApp beta for Android as well. We just have to wait for a future update that allows beta testers to test the new interface.
