EzBench, an easy way to stress-test your GPU

EzBench is a next-gen GPU benchmark featuring  the latest technologies.

Despite the fact that Unreal Engine 5 was announced just a few weeks ago, it is already being incorporated into gamers and software. One of such utilities is EzBench which is a free graphics benchmark with support for raytracing and 8K textures.

As noted by developers, this is a stress test meant to represent ‘the worst case scenario’. You are more than likely to see higher framerate in UE5 games, so there is no need to panic if your card does not perform well here.

Developers recommend using graphics cards with at least 8GB of memory, and even GTX 1080 is supported (or AMD equivalent), but obviously for raytracing to work one needs RTX 20/RX 6000 series GPUs.

As noted by ComputerBase, GeForce RTX 2080 Ti scores 22,200 points, while Radeon RX 6700XT can provide up to 13,800 points. The more powerful RTX 3090 will reach 39,000 points, the site reports.

Keep in mind that EzBench is not a small benchmark. Due to the use of 8K textures, the software is 20GB big. You can grab your copy from Steam.
