Pat Gelsinger does not expect to see a supply/demand balance till 2023
Intel CEO expects shortages to get incrementally smaller in 2022.
Another grim outlook for PC enthusiasts from another important CEO. Nearly a month ago, AMD CEO Lisa Su has said that she is not expecting shortages to end till the second half of 2022. The shortages are to ease from the second half of next year, Su added. Pat Gelsinger appears to agree with this fact but does not specifically mention when.

Therefore now all three CEOs from Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA agree that supply constraints are to continue in 2022, as even Jensen Huang confirmed back in August that he expects supply issues for the majority of next year.
Intel is now set to launch its new 10nm Alder Lake desktop series next month, with mobile SKUs coming early next year. Furthermore, Intel will launch its discrete mobile and desktop DG2 series of GPUs under the Arc Alchemist brand in the first quarter of 2022. It is unclear how Intel is planning to tackle the increased pricing of components in order to prevent their CPUs and GPUs from being sold at a higher price.
